Application & Selection Procedure:

Step 1: Material preparation

Step 2: Online application

• Each applicant can only apply for one degree program. Please do not apply repeatedly;
• The email address used in the application system must be valid before registration;

Step 3: Initial qualification review

• The Admissions Office will review the completeness and authenticity of the materials.
• If the applicant receives a notice regarding supplementary materials, please submit the relevant materials before the application deadline.

Step 4: Application fee payment

• Applicants who pass the initial review must pay a non-refundable application fee of 400 RMB, and upload the payment receipt to the application system.

Step 5: Comprehensive interview

• After confirming the payment of application fee, applicants will receive an email notification of the comprehensive interview within 7-10 working days.

Step 6: Academic interview/ online test

• Applicants who have passed the comprehensive interview will participate in an academic interview or online test. The time, content, and method will be sent via email.

Step 7: Pre-admission

• Applicants who pass all the reviews will receive the Pre-admission Notice. Pre-admitted students are required to confirm their admissions within the prescribed period stated in the Pre-admission Notice. Those who don’t give feedback as required will be deemed as giving up the admission.

Step 8: Issuance of admission materials

• Students who confirmed their admissions will receive the e-version of Admission Notice and Confirmation Form for study in China by email.
• Students should bring their passport, Admission Notice, and Confirmation Form for study in China to the Chinese embassy or consulate abroad to apply for an entry study visa.

Step 9: Registration

• New students will start studying at HFUT in early September. Please refer to the admission letter for the specific registration date. Those who fail to report on time without approval shall be deemed to have forfeited their admission.
• When coming to HFUT to register, new students shall bring the Admission Notice, Confirmation Form for study in China, physical examination report, original copy of highest diploma, etc. to submit to the university for qualification review. The admission of those who fail the review will be canceled.

Reminder: If any dishonesty or falsification is found, the application and admission would be invalid.
